I'm not sure whether it is an error, but the shown dps value for energy weapons is vanishingly low compared to railguns. Now, I do like railguns a whole lot, but needing a lot less power and dealing a lot more damage, along with firing faster, is a bit much. Plus, most of the "default" designs rely heavily on energy weapons, and I remember being picked apart fairly fast in update 3 - or at least, me with my all-railgun loadout didn't survive much longer than the enemy with its mixed loadout.
Though however this may present itself, I doubt stuff like that is high on the priority list with crashes still abound.
On that matter, I also found a spelling mistake: The mouseover stat preview for the bare hulls in the hangar gives the sensor ranges of all ships as 100s of kilometers, not 10s as when you actually select a ship.^^
I'll see whether I'll encounter something more interesting while playing.
edit1: Probably not serious either, but drag-copying a plasma puls turret on a Markab destroyer gave a different energy draw than inputting a new one, specifically, none at all for the third turret.
I reproduced that on other ships, and it seems the last turret is always "free" when drag-copying, regardless of what turret you "copy" from.
It also seems my spiffy custom color scheme gets taken off my custom ships sometimes even after saving them when I go back and forth between saved ships, hulls and several ships, but I can't quite make out when exactly this happens. It might have something to do with going from the default ships to hulls and then a custom design, since it retains the color of whatever ship you looked at last when you go from the saved ones to the base hulls.
Once the Quickbar with all designs displayed is full enough to require scrolling, it doesn't display custom designs until you select a particular ship size. Need to see whether is also goes when the whole bar is full of custom designs.
edit2: Objectives aren't cleared either, I guess? At least not in the scouting mission. Well, we have them now, at least. XD This is also true for failed objective. I wouldn't call my command ship Elizabeth, but you english people might have different opinions in that regard.^^
Seems battleships get stuck in space sometimes, didn't trigger the box though. It only seems to happen if several are selected. The same situation also causes one ship entry to squeeze at the top left corner, becoming unreadable.
