There's a red X over the Jurgen, I think perhaps this is a missing character in the game font file for the "ü" character?
Aside from what Spectre-X mentioned about the music playback, the actual music is sooo sick btw!! From dubstep to the really awesome ambient stuff, it really makes one feel like they're in space!
I think the arrows should be reversed in their states to indicate what happens when the user clicks on them, rather than indicating their current state. E.g:
A quirky behavour with the selection box is that sometimes it does'nt hide after the user has triggered mouse button-up:
I could'nt check Angel's inventory but is she meant to have a propulsion effects like the other ships?
After jumping, just from a user experience side, I think it would be best to change focus to the currently selected ship after it jumps to the new sector. Or, at least leave that for the user to decide within game options. As it just saves the user time for them in zooming in on his ship as that's 9 times out of 10 going to be his next step anyway after a jump.
Not sure whether it's grouping but there seems to be a gap between my battleship and corvettes on the UI: After jumping, I'm not exactly sure whether it's down to travel time, but when double-clicking on my ships, they did'nt seem to come into focus - only after 30 seconds or so did the portrait icons work for focusing on ships. If it is down to travel time, suggest implementing a warp icon above the ships in transit, to indicate they they're currently not selectable and in transit.
I selected my battlegroup and told them to go to zone 17 within the zone map, just after jumping from zone 1 and while one of them seemed to want to go, the rest headed off in the other direction. Also the selection box didn't seem to want to hide itself (3rd frame):
After leaving them, they then seemed to go right off the map
Sometimes, when selecting a unit, a grey radius appears around it, I think it's somehow getting it's movement triggered somehow?
Theeeen I had a crash when exiting

Are you dragging from the top-left to the bottom-right? Or from the top-right to the bottom-left?
Yeah man, you were totally correct - the game by default has 0% rotate speed
