I'm going to use this thread to post work in progress shots of the things I'm currently working on. If you want, you can give me feedback at any time or point me to space art and designs you like. Let's start this of with a WIP of a quick and dirty overhaul I gave to some of the older assets James had used before, and which I guess will now be used after all
I've PBRed them properly(still quick and dirty though, subject to change) and have also added the material customization options you'll find on most if not all assets from now on.
Note, that these are not just preset "skins", not a premade set of textures.
Instead, you can choose the accent color, the engine light color(and light color if it aplies). Furthermore you can overwrite the default grey base material and create your own using 3 parameters: color, metallic, roughness.
